Mat-based Pilates exercises can improve your posture, muscle tone, core strength and flexibility over time.

Sessions use the Pilates principles of the breath, concentration, control, centring, precision and flow.

Pilates with Steph Thomas At Squire’s Field weekly on a Wednesday 10 am – 11 am.

Suitable for beginners, all ages (over 16s) and those returning to exercise.

Supportive friendly environment equipment is provided (bring your own mat if you prefer).

Wear loose fitting clothes or that stretch with movement.

What does it cost?

£8 each week, subject to availability, or book for 6 week block at £7.50 per session (£45)

About your instructor...

Steph has a background in community sports participation and development having originally studied at Carnegie in Leeds.


She has worked in a variety of roles in the South West developing fitness opportunities, project management, equalities trainer, charity governance, research and development.


She then became a self-employed consultant and began training as a Pilates Instructor.


Steph wanted to re-connect more directly with people in improving their fitness having applied herself more to desk-based work in previous years.


She is enjoying teaching Pilates as much as she thought she would.
